CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Twenty seniors at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign were selected to serve on this year’s homecoming court (EDITORS: See list).

The weeklong celebration began Oct. 20 and ends Sunday. This year’s theme is "I Spy Illini!"

The court members were selected on the basis of their academic achievement, campus leadership and community involvement. They participate in several Homecoming events during the week, including the kickoff and parade, as well as half-time festivities during the football game Oct. 26 against Indiana at Memorial Stadium.
